Fasciatherapy
What is fasciatherapy?
Fasciatherapy is a gentle manual and body therapy, dating back more than twenty years of research, which was originally developed by Danis Bois, osteopath and trainer for athletes. Fasciatherapy owes its name to the fascias, omnipresent in the body like a spider's web that stretches from head to toe, whose Latin etymology means "band", "band", "aponeurosis"
Fasciatherapy is therefore not a therapy associated with the face, rather a body therapy following a global approach which addresses, among other things, a particular tissue called the fascia.
Beyond its effectiveness on several physical symptoms, it allows to intervene successfully on certain problems of the psychological sphere by allowing to activate the natural capacity that the body has to go towards its repair.
Health-well-being prevention tool
Regularly practiced fasciatherapy sessions ensure effective prevention by eliminating tensions and imbalances due to stress and avoiding fatigue.
What are fascias?
Fasciae are tough fibrous tissue, ubiquitous in the body like a spider's web that stretches from head to toe and surface to depth.
These tissues, whitish in color, have the particularity of covering all the anatomical parts of the body, organ, nerves, veins, arteries, muscles like a second skin and which takes a different name depending on its location. (For example; the meninges for the brain and spinal cord, the myotensive fascia for the muscles.)
